I have tried no less than 20 protein supplements - this one is #1
The chocolate is awesome. I have tried no less than 20 protein "drinks/powders/ready to drink" for use after bariatric surgery (a lifetime regimen of protein supplementation means great taste is essential).
The only other recommendation I make is Pure Nutrition - Whey Protein Isolate (All Natural) Pure Vanilla Bean 2 lbswhich is a great alternate for when you want to add fruit to make a fruit smoothie.
I did not find an aftertaste in either supplement.
I could list the brands, but I think you'll get it. I've tried the 3 oz tubes of 45g concentrates which are handy for on the go, but generally too sweet. I've tried the ISO brand in various forms which are OK for pre and post surgery when it has to be clear liquid. Most of the canned and ready to drink are palateable for occasional use, but again are handy for on the go.
These two are the ones for daily use at home when you have access to a drink...
